I really didn't know Rose, but maybe she was a friend of my sister, Carol Ann Gazzola in room 211. She looks like she was a sweet girl in her picture. I hope Rose and Carol are friends in Heaven. I loved my sister very much, and I am sure Rose's family loved her very much too. I hope Rose's family doesn't mind me writing to Rose. Love and prayers to Rose's family, Dolores Labuda -- (Dolores Labuda, Friend)
I lived at 836 N. Karlov. RoseAnn and I were the best of friends. She loved music, singing and dancing. Her ambition was to become a movie star. She would share her dreams with me and I with her. Every year she would participate in the May crowning of the Blessed Virgin at my house. RoseAnn was a special person because she had a beautiful soul that reached out to everyone. She loved to smile and I remember the last time we talked--two days before the fire. Her mother gave me an "R" pin that she used to wear on her sweater. I treasure it to
this day. May she rest in peace. -- (Donald Valentini, Friend)
