Memories of Elaine
I never knew my cousin Elaine. When I was born in 1966, she already had passed away. My mom named me after her and for that I am greatly honored. She seemed to have been a sweet girl from what I have heard though family members. I wish that I could have had the opportunity of getting to know her. Hopefully she is shining down on me today.

Love,
Cousin Elaine

Elaine's brothers Frankie and Dennis so resemble her. Dennis' daughter, Lisa Elaine, was named for her. Lisa looked just like her aunt Elaine when she was the age Elaine was when she passed away. Elaine would have been my sister-in-law as I am married to Dennis. We know she is not alone as many have passed after her: her father, grandparents, aunt and cousins. I pray that together they can give strength to those who miss all of them so.

I was four years old when my cousin Elaine was taken from us. I always remember Elaine smiling and happy, especially around her cousins. She will forever be in our hearts. Love Cousin Vito

We lived next door to Elaine and her family on Ridgeway Ave. She was two years older than I. My mother, Rose Aliotta, and Elaine's mother were good friends. I remember how devastated her mother was - she just stayed in her room for what seemed like months.

I never knew my cousin Elaine. I was born in 1953. In 1955 My Mom and Dad had moved the family to California. I remember Mom telling me about the fire. I was almost Five at the time. Mom was watching TV and opening a gift that the Pesolies had sent her. The gift was for my Little Sister. That's when the News came on the TV about the fire. We found out later about Elaine being a victim. I wish that I could have had the opportunity of getting to know her. I do remember her brothers from times we made to visit relatives in the 60s and 70s.
