I lost my two best friends Kathleen Carr and Diane Karwacki both 9 years old. I was there at the fire outside the building at a tender age of 8 years old and have carried this tragedy with me my entire life. I have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren and have moved around to different state from 1999 to now. I have attended some of the gathering for survivors but now live in Tennessee. Last one I attended was 2015? My prayers have remained with all the families who lost children and for the nuns who lost their lives and their families. I would like to visit the renovated OLA church next time I am in town.
