About me: |
I lived at 949 N. Drake and my sister Pamela was in the school fire. My father Albert Krajecke was a Chicago police officer and rescued many children from the fire in search of his daughter who ran out of the building without her coat and went inside to an apartment building on Iowa to get out of the cold. My mother and I went to find my sister and saw many fire trucks and children jumping from windows on fire. Luckily my sister was smart enough to run out of the building without her coat, if she took the time to grab her coat then she would have died.
