| About me: |
My name was Nancy Ann Lemak. I lived at 733 N Ridgeway and was in 1st grade. I just remember standing outside the school after the fire bell went off and then saw some of the older kids (4th-5th) graders running past me without coats or had only one or no shoes on. I recall going along with other kids in my class into the neighbors homes until our parents could be located. I remember going to I think Ryerson school until OLA was completed. I was a 1966 gratuate - In fact I still have my OLA emblem somewhere - my mother had saved it.
