Memories of Jo Ann |
I knew Jo Ann because my Aunt Mary Ciolino, my father's sister, was married to her father's brother, my Uncle Jim Ciolino. I used to play together with her and her sister Sarah at my aunt's house. I remember her as a sweet, kind and very smart child. Her sister Sarah and I were the same age. She was two years older. I remember having a lot of fun playing with them. I remember seeing them a few weeks before the fire; she was talking about making her Conformation. She was excited about it. After the fire, my mother told me what happened to Jo Ann but I don't think I realized until I saw Sarah and not Jo Ann at my aunt's house. I remember feeling very sad for Sarah. -- (Georgette Terracina Wadulak, Friend) |
